So i recently setup a client with backups and after a few nights of backups figured i would check if the passworded files could be access. And it wont accept the password.
This is the comment i used but when i try to mount the backup file, it always says Invalid password..
/wait /b /uy /um /d:w0 /f:"D:\THURSDAY" /enc:3 /pw:"AA5432$$"
AA5432$$ is the password but it wont take it on any of the images. I thought maybe it turned the AA into aa, i tried it with the quotes for the password, always says invalid.
Any ideas why?

Re: Cant access backups that are passworded
It might be due to this issue mentioned in the manual:
Note: Some versions of the Windows Task Scheduler, such as in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012, will replace $$ with $ when running the command. If you are using consecutive $ characters in your command line you should verify the results of running the task are as expected and adjust as necessary. For example, if you use $$ in your password text the password may not end up being what you expect.

Thanks. I will check that. I didnt see that when searching for password in the manual.
