I installed IFU v3.22 as part of the BIU v1.04 installation and IFU works fine from the BIU maintenance screen.

Will the update to IFU v3.24 replace the IFU installation in the \EFI\BootIt folder correctly ?

Yes, you can copy the new imageu.efi to that folder.
