You have to use the read-from-volume option.

I ran a full backup and validation in about 32 minutes. File size is 15.9 GB
from 31.2 GB space used on my 256 GB Windows 10 partition.

EDIT

sorry to have to report this, but the excessive large file size occurs when
using the RE Flash drive. I re-created the RE Flash drive using v3.22a.

Bob,

The Wilders security forums have been around for a long time. The Backup forum has threads about most imaging apps.

The "Read from volume" option did the trick. Of course it's also necessary to first suspend Bitlocker from within Windows before booting the TBWin RE. Thank you Terabyte Support!
