I set a backup running when I was doing some soldering. No reduction
in backup size at all. It is not a big deal, just did a double-take
when I saw the increase.

compare the full total allocated / total backed up of before and after (in
the .log).

Sorry for getting back to you so late. the log file was corrupted and
looked like a binary file when I tried to view it.
