Image for Linux foreign language issue

Post by Martineau »

Hello,

I am new here. I currently test image for linux trial CUI. I use Xubuntu 18.04 LTS X64. My problem is with the french language. I put the "ifl_fr_trial.zip" in the current directory then I run ./setup and asks for a french keybloard latin9 and choose french language. When I run ./iflbuild I notice the french language is included. When I boot from my USB stick, I can set the keyboard to french but the menu is only in english.

In the console, when I Iaunch ./imagel (french), the accented vowels ard missing.

Thank you for helping.

The program itself is translated, the other items as part of the boot disk
are not.

When creating the boot disk using the french version does the text look
correct?

I type ./imagel from xubuntu directory : missing accented vowels (é è ê ...).

Then I press enter

No they don't. Accented vowels are either missing or replaced by strange symbols.

EDIT
Building again the boot Usb Flash Device and using "./makeHDD /c" instead of iflbuild helped to have the program in french. Remain the problem of the accented vowels.
