Image-related curiosity

Not a TB issue, but something to understand...

After an image is restored, my bank account access page always reports "we do not recognize the computer you are using," which requires authentication.

_Where_ are they hiding the info, which was not restored with the partition = In the boot sector?

One would think so, but if it's a cookie it should have been restored. The bank says that something has changed.

It could be a browser update, Windows update, or IP address change, for example. Quite a few things can trigger it.
