3.13: Annoying MakeDisk

Good evening

we never had problems with MakeDisk in the last years (except the annoyance that it does not use the Registration Information of the already registered IFW), but now we jumped from an older version directly to 3.13 and we have to try to create a USB Stick 8 times until it works once. We tried it on two computers and have the same problems.

MakeDisk usually says "An error occured while writing to the (USB) Device".
If we use another USB build tool like Rufus to create the USB Stick from the ISO file, then it works every time - as MakeDisk worked before.

Btw.: it's also *very* annoying to get a "final confirmation dialog" for the "confirmation dialog" before we create the USB Stick.
Maybe you could add a simple math question, so that you could be sure that the user can read and think about logical questions?? (Please don't).

Kind regards,
Thomas

Sounds like something is blocking writing to the drive. Pull it out and
put it back in, then try again (should be running elevated). Also, may be
your AV program blocking it from writing unless related to hardware (could
be using a sector that can't be written - it uses the ones it needs).
