there was no change so perhaps the wrong reg info was entered?
as far as ncurses, you need to ensure you have the correct 32 bit libraries
installed.

I never was able to get a CD/DVD or thumb drive to work without having to
enter my registration info.
I saw that 3.15 was out so I grabbed that and was able to get the GUI
version to boot and run on both CD/DVD and thumb drive without asking for my
credentials.
Then I got greedy and tried to get it to run from my live distro on the HDD.
I was successful but I can only run TBIView (1.35) from the USB stick - I
get the same old ncurses error when I try to run it from my 'live' distro.
Not perfect, but at least I can use it again.
