IfL freeze

Hi,

I was backing up my hard disk with IfL 3.04. The backup itself went
smoothly and validation was set as an option.

Once the backup itself was complete, IfL froze at the validation
stage. Froze maybe the wrong word as I could try to cancel the
process, a yes/no box appeared and clicking yes did nothing. I could
reboot by right-clicking and clicking the appropriate option.

I waited a good few minutes and there was no h/d activity either.

Validation using IfW completed without any errors.

What is the reason that the validation phase would not start?

was it the GUI version or the CUI version?

was it booting from the IFL boot disk or running from a distribution?

what is your mobo chipset and cpu configuration?

How often does it happen? Is it repeatable?
