Is /mtcomp ignored?

Hello,
I have been evaluating IFW and running some performance tests and noticed that /mtcomp has no effect and appears to be ignored on the command line. Using values like /mtcomp:0, :6, :12 or even :20 have no effect on CPU usage or backup performance. When I look at the log it appears that the launch command line strips the /mtcomp argument. Is this option not enabled in the eval version or has it not been implemented in v3.03 yet?

you'd need /logl:9 or higher to see it in the log since it's a global
option.

even if it's enabled, it may not use it depending on the conditions of the
backup.

I ran again using the increased logging level and it does show the runtime options used including mtcomp. Under what conditions would IFW use mtcomp and can those conditions be forced?
