Disk copy fail

I just copied a disk and on boot, there was an error message, "SPT <
minimum - system halted".

What does this message mean and how can I fix the issue? I am copying
a slowly failing disk to a new one.

Thanks

The fix on page 58 of the BIBM manual did not help.

[solved] Disk copy fail

The error message that is generated, for which there is a KB article
http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/kb/article.php?id=486
..
It turned out that the boot order was messed up. The new disk, with
all the OSs on it and BIBM would boot if all the other disks were
disconnected. All the disks were SATA.

If the other disks were connected at the time the problem would
remain. I then booted the new disk and closed down. I connected one
disk and booted and all was fine. I then connected the last disk and
all was still okay.

I did the above with a restored backup so I do not know if all would
have worked with the original copy operation. I suspect that it would.

The lesson I have learnt from this is to try to boot any disk with the
OSs on its own first. If that boots, the job is 99.99% done.

If anybody wants any further information on this case, please just
feel free to ask in this thread.

I also used the support email address to get help with this issue. As
usual, responses were very fast and very helpful. I would just like to
thank David for the excellent and fast support which is always very
comforting when dealing with situations like this. This is another
reason for upgrading from v2 > v3.
