It is the one with the OSs. It is HD0 on the program output. I also
updated the MBRs and the boot menu to be ready for post-install use.

Yes, I did.
Edit... I note your Swap partition wasn't backed up.

Yes, that was the failure point. When deleted the backup would compete
okay. If created again, the backup would fail...and with the same
error 94.

I only back it up rarely. I only need a backup for the UUID number as
it is common for all my Linux distros.

Then what you are doing is not an Entire Drive backup. It is a multi-partition backup. Terminology.
Does the backup still fail at the same point if you do an Entire Drive backup?

Re: [solved] Complete disk backup fail
I'm looking at the .log again with a bunch of zero sectors backed up, 5
sectors backed up, etc.. For that to happen, I take it you're using
changes only. Does the partition exist in the base? run it at /logl:50
and email the log.

Re: Complete disk backup fail
DrT,
TeraByte Support has hit the nail on the head. I can get a Code 94 error when doing a Changes Only backup if the latest partition wasn't in the Full backup.
