IFW3.01: Language differences

Hi,

I did some tests for IfW and noticed differences between the original English version and localised ones.

The problem might apply for any current localisation:
- Compared to English, any text is pixelated, sometimes the button width is exceeded (cf. [C]réer un disque de démarrage TBWinR[E])
- The 4 operation icons are missing, and so is the 4th radio button "Copy"

Please fix this.
Best regards.

did you download the updated language files or you're using the older
versions?

I used the current language files for French and German respectively.

Link date: 02:27 09.08.2016
Prod version: 3.00b
File version: 3.00b
MachineType: 64-bit

(Results by Sigcheck: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... 97441.aspx)

And, maybe that's of importance: The output differs whether I run imagew64.exe within Windows 7 Professional x64
or if it's launched in Win81SE* (via plugin). The operation icons are shown there, but the text is mainly pixelated as well.

I had to change my screen display specifications or I got gibberish in
BIBM. Neat the lowest works for me.

Why does it make a difference if I switch to a localisation?
For IFW3.01 English everything looks decent.
There's no need to bother with screen display stuff.

Thank you for the update, text now looks fine in French and German as well.

I attached screenshots of the germanised "Verify" procedure:
In Scrshot 1 the "Einstellungen" (Settings) button isn't wide enough.
In Scrshot 2 the same applies to the button "Partitionsgröße".
In Scrshot 3 there's a mistranslation: The line states: "Klicken Sie auf Start um zu beginnen" (Click on Start to begin)
The button below is named "Fertig stellen" (Finish), but "Start" would be logical.

the .rc file is in there to make updates and fixes. Just submit them to
support. The buttons below the partition selection can't be adjusted wider
on some of those as there is no room for two rows of buttons (things are
resized when built), they would need to be abbreviated.
