Best practice for rotating multiple backup drives

I want to setup scheduled daily backups with IFW and be able to swap in multiple external backup drives (one at a time) so the customer can always have one backup drive offsite. The customer wants to be able to swap drives at random intervals, not on a rigid schedule. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Having multiple backup drives that are rotated removes all of the doubt about whether or not an image will restore in an emergency. I've been doing this for years using IFL. I have three working drives for both of my main computers. Since both computers have all of my photos and vital files, I usually do a backup about every month or two. Works for me!

I should add to the above, that I always do a backup prior to any significant change to a hard drive such as adding a new device, a major upgrade to a program, etc. System Restore would probably work just as well, but I prefer a full drive backup just to be sure.

Using Image for Windoes/DOS/Linux has saved my bacon several times and
also enabled me to go to an earlier, cleaner image easier when Windows
starts getting difficult. Yes, there were updates needed when I did that
yet it still saved lots of time not needing to reinstall Windows itself.

you can use simple operations and let the program handle the target drive
files.
