Can you include hex editor in IFL

I just wiped a drive in IFL using hdparm and wanted to confirm by opening the disk in a hex editor, but IFL doesn't include one. Any chance you can include one in a future build (eg. a quick search showed wxHexEditor, but there may be other better ones).

hexedit is on the ifl bootdisk.

Would be nice if there was a GUI version as well.
Another suggestion for inclusion is: smartctl (
