Nothing different with Win10 and IFW. Use the settings suggested in that thread.

"With just those two partitions you can just copy the disk to the SSD. You would want to use the "Scale to Fit" and "Align to Target" options for the copy. Additionally, you would want the following global options enabled: "Align Partitions on 1MiB Boundaries," "Automatic Scaling Restrictions," and "Automatic Boot Partition Update"."
they are talking about a migration about an hard disk to a ssd

i want to restore my image to a new ssd (same brand) (same model) , it's only bigger

in the past they suggest me to use fit to scale
thanks

No problem. That thread covers image/restore as well as direct Copy.

The fourth post says...

"1. Create a backup of the HDD (entire disk) and save it to a USB drive. You could use IFW or IFL.
2. Power down the computer.
3. Remove the HDD and replace it with the SSD.
4. Boot to IFL (or TBWinRE/PE) and restore the entire disk image to the SSD (the options used would be the same as for the copy operation)."

The second post says...

" You would want to use the "Scale to Fit" and "Align to Target" options for the copy. Additionally, you would want the following global options enabled: "Align Partitions on 1MiB Boundaries," "Automatic Scaling Restrictions," and "Automatic Boot Partition Update"."

Hi Brian
but for the same job , terabyte team have suggested to use scale to fit

if it's already aligned on the source, no need to use align to target (you
typically use that when changing alignment). Do an entire drive copy (or
restore), scale to fit is typically what I use, but scale to target can be
used (believe the manual details the difference). Don't need write standard
mbr unless you want to ensure the mbr is a standard one. Don't leave both
drives attached during a boot, if you plan on that, use the option to change
disk guid/id's."

We are all suggesting Scale to Fit. You seem worried about the various Options. What is your concern?
