I am trying to rebuild my Windows 7 laptop with two partitions, 1/2 diskspace for C (OS) and 1/2 for partition D (Data) which i want to place my profile and user data. I am working at silly hours trying to do this and am struggling to get it to boot off the windows 7 cd once the partitions have been created, as it always boots into BootIT NG menu prompts. Can someone explain what i need to do and what i am doing wrong.

Usually, you just need to set the DVD drive to boot before the hard drive in the BIOS boot order. You might also be able to use the "Next BIOS device" option for the Windows 7 menu item in BING if the DVD drive is after the hard drive.

On systems with a BIOS Boot Menu key you can also use that. However, since the installer may need to reboot to the DVD during the installation it's usually easier to just change the boot order.
