colour scheme

Post by Roedy »

I just upgraded to 1.15. The colour scheme is bizarre, bright coral backgrounds with lime green buttons. I tried both VESA and hardware config.

My video is Integrated Radeon 4250. AMD 6 core CPU.

upgrading doesn't alter the color scheme. You can go in to edit file on
bootitbm.ini and remove all the color items to reset to defaults.

bootitbm.ini contained no colour commands. I had not configured any colours. I tried the colour config on the upper left menu which I had never noticed before. Flipping from 256 colour to 64K fixed it.
Basically the problem is the default 256 colours are weird.

it may have fell back to vga mode or there is an issue in that 256 color
mode on that adapter.
