BTBM and Linux RAID

I cannot inistall Linux RAID usinig BTBM. This is nearly a dealbreaker.
I have 3 hard drives hdo, hd1 and hd2 Booti insrtalled on hd0, which is of course the EMBR disk type
I want to install Ubuntu or Fedora (neither works) as a Linux RAID either as RAID 0 or RAID 5. I can define the partitions (using EMBR disktype or MBR - both fail) usinig hd0, hd1 and possibly hd2. I setup the partitiohn withi BTBM. The OS sees the parttitions (I use hd0 for GRUB) but when boot either GRUB apears and it can't go into the OS or I just get the initramfs propmpt. Booting Ubuntu in safe mode show that a pariition is not recognize - there is no OS when I look. Can I install RAID using BTBM??
