Mouse and keyboard options in BIU

Just setup BIU on a Panasonic CF-D1 tablet, then realised it has no mouse and keyboard and I have to plug in an external USB mouse and keyboard. I've managed to get it all setup this way, but it kind of defeats the point of a tablet, is there another way in BiU?
