How many EFI system partitions? (BIU)

It is not clear to me how many EFI system partitions I need when I want to install operating systems on two different drives. Does each drive need its own EFI system partition (with bit 55 set) or not?

You just need one.
bit 55 needs to be set if you want BIU to manage it.
