HD emulation mode

How to enable/disable the HD emulation mode? I don't find its description in the user manual.

you talking about for makedisk and a cd boot? That's handled for you,
just ensure you extract all the files from the latest version.

Yes, makedisk for a CD boot. I understand. However, I have no idea why I have seen a few times HDD 0 with a BootIt BM partition on it.

If it won't fit a 2.88 emulation then it will use HD emulation. So
deselect something and then it would fit.

From the Manual: ... you must ensure that an Extended Master Boot Record (EMBR) exists on hard disk 0 (HD0) and on the drive chosen for installation, ...
Note: When HD Emulation is used, HD0 is the boot media. Of course, it cannot be converted to EMBR. This fact should be reflected, I think.

It's talking about the actual HD0, the installation attempts to account
for itself when it ends up as a hard drive.
