Trial Bootit BM Functionality

Per KB 604 it looks like BIBM will help me recover a MBR system drive which I converted to GPT w/o checking that the system it was in supports UEFI :-( My goal is to put it back the way it was (after backing up the current state to a spare drive).

Is the trial version sufficient to to do this? I was surprised (and happy) that the trial version appears fully functional - at least I cannot find anything documenting any difference between trial and full (other than the trial being 30 days).

Of course I'll purchase the s/w assuming it can solve my issue as it may come in handy in the future.

Thanks for the guidance.

cyberhiker,

I don't think so as it doesn't contain the relevant script.

How did you convert MBR to GPT?

I've downloaded the trial and started the drive copy to at least give me a copy before I do anything destructive. I see the scripts are not on the trial CD - I'll buy the full version once I can confirm the copy is successful.

Are you copying to another drive? Make sure you don't boot with both drives in the computer.

I'm using the Image for DOS program. After the copy I'll disconnect one of the drives and do the GPT->MBR conversion following the instructions in the article you linked.
