in mint
right click menu icon in bottom left of screen
configure
menu
'open the menu editor'
in the left column select a folder you want your launcher to be placed (I put all manually made ones in 'other')
new item
name IFL
command /home/ifl/imagel
once the name field and command field have been filled with legal entries, the OK button is not greyed out and you can save
the launcher will now be in the menu
to put it on your panel, right click the launcher and select 'add to panel'.
then you can reposition anywhere on the panel without putting panel in edit mode.

I now see the same thing. But they are present in nemo after a restart.

Thanks. I got to the second last line. Right clicking IFL in the Item list doesn't show 'add to panel'. What have I done wrong?

Does the IFL launcher work from the menu?
What version of Mint are you running?

After rebooting Mint and I run IFL, and attempt a restore operation using the image I made in IFL (within Mint), the file is not listed.
So I presume IFL is not completing the operation..... due to as per the log "error 0"

Mint 19.1

Double clicking IFL icon brings up Launcher Properties. As does pressing Enter.

OK, something is not right running IFL in Mint.
When I open up any of the settings tabs and try to change, they will not save.
One explanation might be I don't have a license...
Another is IFL just doesn't run properly as x32 on a x64 environment.

LOL....ok.... well the images are not listed in IFL after rebooting MInt, in addition to never being listed in Nemo.
maybe a license thing?
