automatic dual boot failure

Dual boots to Win7Pro and Win10 after converting HD to NTFS per Terbyte detailed instructions.
Last week, automatic boot up to the last used OS failed to black screen with no activity or option but to turn off PC.
Booting up after turning off PC showed black screen with options to find solution or boot normally.
This week decided to click the last used OS when BBM choice appeared.
Without fail, booted successfully to the OS.
Does this indicated BBM is damaged?
If so, how to "repair" BBM dual boot and not cause OS or other problems?
thanks

you would need to check your boot item.

If it's not booting to BIBM but directly to the OS, then presuming you have
multiple physical drives, you'd need to check to ensure your booting the
correct drive that has BIBM on it.

When BIBM appears, I double click Win7, it boots properly to Win7; therefore I assume BIBM boots to the correct partition.
Is this assumption correct?

If the assumption is correct, what might cause BIBM to not boot to Win7?
