Is it possible to do a restore without any user input?
Is it possible to do a restore without any user input?
I have a machine that I want to be able to do an automatic recovery on each reboot. It needs to be able to boot up, start the recovery process without any user input, recover the back up image, and then boot into windows when done. I see there's a built in scripting system in with bare metal, but is it possible to do what I require? This is for a computer that multiple people will use and so we don't want information carrying over from one person to another.

This is based on BING/IFD but would be same for BIBM which includes IFD ...

Chuck,
You can also do this with a BIBM script, BootNow and a shutdown script.
It also can be done with an IFD bootfile and a shutdown script.

Chuck, we haven't heard back from you.
I've tried an even easier method using a TBOS partition and mbr.exe. A restore happens automatically after every restart/shutdown.
