Here's the thing, in that mode, Shutdown no longer means shutdown, it means
hibernate. They just redefined a word to mean something its not, but it is
the other thing.

have disabled it both in BIBM and in Windows 10.

But what about ordinary hibernation? Is that dangerous also?

I hear you, but running a DAW and getting everything set up correctly is no mean fete. When you have something that works, you're reluctant to change. Things like programs phoning home in the background can wreak havoc. Uncontrolled updates are another bad thing, especially if unsigned drivers are overwritten. Sudden changes to settings like power settings, another. On and on...
