BootIt BM license

Post by The Seeker »

I just upgraded to the TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite using my 50% upgrade discount (thanks guys). I signed in using my new order number but can no longer see my download link for BootIt BM. Is it OK to sign in with my old order number to maintain access to BootIt BM?

you sign in to the old number for BIBM. Link the orders by assigning the
same email and password then log in using email password.

Ah, OK. I've linked my orders as you suggested - surprised I missed that.

The reason I expected to see BootIt BM under the new order number is because I originally purchased it and IFW as a suite. I would happily have bought the suite again as an upgrade. I'm guessing this wasn't possible because BIBM hasn't had a major update, i.e. like IFW did to v 3.x?

That's true. BIBM didn't recently get a major update.

If TBU were like some of the companies that I have come across, they
would have had a fake major version increase just to get some more
money out of us without being able to justify it by any substantive
changes to the software. It has been **9** years since v2 of the
backup programs were released.
