Howdy. All went well with cloning the drive from 500 gb to 1TB, SSd, but could not expand the partition.
Not finding much documentation referring to VMFS.
The drive shows as Gpt - partition type "Other"
Should I make note of the partition number, change it to MBR, preform the expand partition , then change the partition type back?

Doesn't Windows itself allow you to expand or shrink a partition?
I used Win 7 to shrink the C: and create a D:
