Windows 10 upgrade from Win 8 creates it's own MBR partition

Post by roscolo »

Using BootIt for over 10 years now. Might be the best software purchase I ever made!

Installed Windows 8.1 on it's own partition. Upgraded to Windows 10 via Windows online method. Process completed successfully. During the upgrade, I see a new partition MBR was created during the upgrade process. Not sure what to to or if this will create any problems for me when I try to add another OS using BootIt.

I've disabled Fast Startup. Should I just leave that MBR partition that was created during the Windows 10 upgrade alone?

Thanks!

Read that thread. It wandered all over the place. I guess I should just let it be and leave the Win 10 MBR partition alone.
