For anyone having a problem with the configuration of Win10 being followed
by another partition not in the MBR (and probably with cylinder alignment)
where the update is creating a new partition overwriting the other
partition. Please share the contents of your %windir%\panther folder
(after the update) so it can be sent to MS.

Also, perhaps a couple that end up creating a new partition when you didn't
ask it to.

Does it matter if more than 4 partitions is activated?

thanks to all those who provided feedback.

MS has found the alignment issue and considering a fix for the next release.
They said they previously had a fix which prevented the creation of the new
partition in some conditions when it wasn't needed which should alleviate
the problem for most.
