Removing reserved system partition.

Post by DrTeeth »

I was following the excellent instruction from TBU on a new Netbook,
and when done, the 'book would not boot.

I restored and then did the same again. I checked my steps carefully
in both cases. The second try worked, IMHO, as I changed the MBR to
Win7 compatible. Standard MBR code may also have worked.

I have done this many times and with netbooks from the same company
without problems before.

Did you get an error message on the first attempt?

Only when booting. As per the KB article, I did check to see that the
necessary items had been copied over. All operations 'succeeded'.
