Thanks Brian. Yes, I read that article previously - especially this: "BootIt Bare Metal will not boot on UEFI systems configured in UEFI mode. To boot on these systems Secure Boot must be disabled and you must enable or use Legacy mode."
I did exactly that but BIOS does not recognize the BIBM UFD and instead always boots Win10 on my HDD. That is the problem. I also moved 'USB' to the top of the boot order for both UEFI mode and Legacy mode.
I fear BIBM will not work on my PC - period. In the BIOS settings the description for 'Legacy Support' states the following: "When Legacy Support is enabled, UEFI boot order and Legacy boot order are both available and UEFI boot order has higher priority than Legacy boot order".
Thus, since my HDD is UEFI, the BIOS always boots the Win10 partition regardless if a bootable Legacy UFD is installed. In other words (as I understand), if any UEFI device is attached to my system, it will always be booted regardless of the Legacy boot order and the presence of a Legacy bootable device.
Again, why can't makedisk create a BIBM UEFI bootable UFD?
