It's a strange story. I finally pulled out the drive to look for jumpers and discovered that it was a 2TB drive! Not only that, it was a Samsung. I never looked at the fine print on the drive and just assumed that Samsung had bought WD. What a screw-up. So I just returned the Samsung drive and the store was suspicious that I was trying to pull a fast one. And I can't really blame them! Anyone could do that. It was really embarrassing, but they gave me a genuine 4TB drive and Windows Disk Management recognized it right away. I assume BBM will also, I am going to check that now.
