Can I keep my old Partitions

Hello,
I want to install Bibm, but after hours of reading and searching, I can't find the answer to some questions I have..
On HD0 I currently have 3 Primary partitions with XP, Vista & Win7, and Boot-US boot manager is using a small 1 meg Primary making a total of 4 Primaries.
I can delete the Boot-US boot manager Primary to give me the spare Primary I need to install Bibm's unlimited Primary partition option .
I want to install Bibm using the unlimited Primary partitions option, and understand that Bibm has to change the HD from MBR to EMBR.
What happens to those 3 Primary OS partitions I currently have ?
Does Bibm delete all those partitions and I have to reinstall them ?
Can I image those partitions with Acronis first and will they be able to be reinstalled to the (new) EMBR drive ?
Or do I have to back those partitions up with something else for them to be recognised ?
Like I said, I've read the whole Bibm manual and searched this Forum but can't seem to find the answer.
