Display Colours & Resolution

Post by anniebody »

Stuck at the first hurdle trying to get BootIt setup so I can use the bl**dy thing! Please don't design products on acid trips! Orange text on pink backgrounds. Are you serious?
Could someone please advise how to change the garish colour defaults! I would like to know what each of the settings relates to rather than changing one then trying to work out what has changed. Can someone provide a list, or a marked up screen shot?
I use a widescreen 1920x1600 and the text is VERY difficult to read even at the maximum resolution. The two lower resolutions don't display at all. XOSL, which I am hoping to replace, has a professional looking screen. Why doesn't the screen allow for more current displays and a change of font to something legible? Come on guys 25 year old DOS is readable, so why not BootIT?

anniebody,

You aren't seeing default colours.
