Parallels or other VM solution

Post by npderi »

I know this is going to seem like a silly question, but I guess if anyone would know it would be here.

On the mac, when you create a partition for windows using bootcamp, you can boot the the windows partition directly when you start the system. You can, with the use of Parallels also boot windows as a virtual machine.... just in case you want to use it while you're booted into MAC OSX.

I am curious, if it's possible to use any virtualization solution to do this with partitions made by Bootit BM? I like booting directly into the OS, but sometimes I would like to access the other OS to make a small change, or test something quickly. I haven't tested it, and have only purchased a copy of parallels for my mac at home, so I thought I'd ask here first before installing/buying software.
