BIBM: Minor Navigation Quirk

Post by CyberSimian »

In the interests of making a great product even better:

(1) Start BIBM and on the main BIBM panel select "Boot Edit".

(2) On the "Boot Menu" panel, the focus is on the first boot item in the list of boot items. This item has a blue background indicating that it has the focus.

(2) Use the TAB_FORWARD key on the keyboard to move the focus to the "Edit" button and press the ENTER key.

(3) "On the "Edit Menu Item" panel, press the BACKTAB key to move the focus to the "OK" button and press the ENTER key.

(4) Back on the "Boot Menu" panel, the boot item just edited again has a blue background indicating that it has the focus.

(5) Press the DOWN key to move the focus to the next boot item. NOTHING HAPPENS.

(6) The reason that nothing happens is that the focus is still on the "Edit" button. The error is that BIBM is indicating that two different elements on the screen have the focus.

(7) This test sequence works correctly if you go into "Partition Work", move the focus to the "Properties" button, press ENTER, and perform the actions described above.

I see it. Also FYI, you can just press enter to select item to edit (or
press E) and for ok, can use F10. see
