This affects boot media created on current versions of Windows 10 as well as Windows 11.<\/p>\r\n  <p><strong><font color=\"#ff5500\">Cause:<\/font><\/strong> <\/p>\r\n  <p>The TBWinRE build used newer boot files which are not compatible with the older files in the WIM.<\/p>\r\n  <p><strong><font color=\"#ff5500\">Solution:<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\r\n  <p>If UEFI booting is not required, the disc or ISO file can be booted in Legacy mode.<\/p>\r\n  <p>Otherwise, recreate the TBWinRE build using the boot files from the WinRE source WIM. Then create a new disc or ISO file using MakeDisk.<\/p>\r\n  <p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n  <ol>\r\n    <li>Run TBWinPE\/RE Builder.<br>\r\n      <br>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>Next<\/strong> on the Welcome screen and then click the <strong>Settings...<\/strong> button (or click the <strong>File | Settings...<\/strong> menu item).<br>\r\n      <br>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Click the <strong>Program Paths<\/strong> tab.<br>\r\n      <br>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>In the WinRE Source section, select the <strong>Use from WIM<\/strong> option for Boot files.<br>\r\n      <br>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to close Settings.<br>\r\n      <br>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Recreate the TBWinRE build and then create a new disc or ISO file using MakeDisk.<\/li>\r\n  <\/ol>\r\n  <p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem: The TBWinRE CD\/DVD\/BD disc boot media or ISO file fails to boot properly on UEFI systems when booting in UEFI mode.
