{"id":622,"date":"2018-05-01T00:23:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T07:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kb.terabyteunlimited.com\/kb-articles\/using-sysprep-for-windows-10-deployment\/"},"modified":"2021-09-07T15:17:23","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T22:17:23","slug":"using-sysprep-for-windows-10-deployment","status":"publish","type":"lsvr_kba","link":"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/kb\/kb-articles\/using-sysprep-for-windows-10-deployment\/","title":{"rendered":"Using Sysprep for Windows 10 Deployment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This article provides the basic steps necessary to create, Sysprep, and deploy Windows 10 images using TeraByte Image products (Image for Windows, Image for Linux, Image for DOS, Image for UEFI).  <\/p>\r\n  <p><strong>Note:<\/strong> To help avoid Sysprep issues and errors it's recommended to review the provided linked Microsoft articles for methods and work-arounds applicable to your scenario before beginning.<\/p>\r\n  <ol>\r\n    <li>Install Windows 10 to the system.You may wish to have the system disconnected from the internet to prevent Windows from updating apps.<br \/>\r\n      <br \/>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Configure the Windows 10 installation.<br \/>\r\n      <br \/>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Run the <strong>Sysprep<\/strong> utility (sysprep.exe) to generalize the system. This utility is installed with Windows 10 and can be found in the <font color=\"#0000ff\">C:&#92;Windows&#92;System32&#92;sysprep<\/font> folder.
