This option can be found in the <font color=\"#0003ff\">[Options] <\/font>section of the IFD.INI file or it can be specified by using the<font color=\"#0003ff\"> \/bgp <\/font>option on the command line. To disable the option, remove <font color=\"#0003ff\">BGProgress=1<\/font> from&nbsp;the IFD.INI file or omit the<font color=\"#0003ff\"> \/bgp <\/font>option from the command line.<\/p><hr \/>\r\n  <p><font color=\"#005858\"><strong>Additional information on this option:<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\r\n  <p>Use this option to enable updating the progress and elapsed time in the background. When you enable background updating, Image for DOS can update the elapsed time even if the program is waiting for a device to respond.<\/p>\r\n  <p><em>Default if omitted:<\/em> Image for DOS updates the progress and elapsed time directly, rather than in the background.
