However, Image for Linux can easily be used instead by downloading and installing the files.<\/p>\r\n<p>Note: Steps 1 &amp; 2 are not necessary for Image for Windows v3\/v4 (the installer includes the Linux CD boot files).<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Download the <strong>Image for Windows - Linux CD Boot Files<\/strong>\u00a0(available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/product-download.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Product Download<\/a> page\u00a0to users of the purchased version of Image for Windows).<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Run the downloaded file (<strong>ifw_ifl_cdboot_en.exe<\/strong>) to install the required files. <br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Run Image for Windows.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Click the <strong>Settings<\/strong> button.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>In the <em>CD Boot Image<\/em> section, select the <strong>Image for Linux<\/strong> option.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to save the change.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By default, backups burned directly to CD\/DVD using Image for Windows will be bootable to Image for DOS.
