The BartPE environment is based on Windows XP and may not build or function correctly on current\/newer systems. Additionally, the Bart PE Builder program and documentation is no longer available from its original source. Using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/howto\/tbwinre_tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TBWinRE<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/howto\/tbwinpe_tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TBWinPE<\/a> is recommended.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>If you are running Image for Windows within BartPE and have found that the <span style=\"color: #0003ff;\"><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">\/rb<\/span> <\/span>command line switch does not work on your system, here is an alternative. \u00a0After creating the BartPE plugin, locate the file named <span style=\"color: #0003ff; font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">autorun_ifwv2.cmd<\/span>, and change its content to the following:<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<span style=\"color: #0003ff; font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">@echo off<br \/>\r\nTitle IFW V2 AutoRun<br \/>\r\nstart \"\" \/wait \/D%~d0&#92;programs&#92;ifwv2 %~d0&#92;programs&#92;ifwv2&#92;imagew.exe<br \/>\r\n@%systemroot%&#92;system32&#92;nu2shell.exe -r<br \/>\r\nexit<br \/>\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>The code above adds the <span style=\"color: #0003ff;\"><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">\/wait<\/span> <\/span>parameter to the imagew.exe command line, which forces the script to wait until Image for Windows exits before reading the next line in the script. \u00a0Also new is the <span style=\"color: #0003ff; font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">nu2shell.exe -r<\/span> line, which will reboot the system after <span style=\"font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;\">imagew.exe<\/span> has finished running.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Important Note: BartPE is obsolete.
