Please refer to the following\r\nlinks for further information:<\/p>\r\n \r\n<hr \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/kb\/?p=127\">How to Create a Windows 95\/98\/Me Startup Disk<\/a><br \/>\r\n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/kb\/?p=060\">How to Create an MS-DOS Startup Disk From Windows XP<\/a><br \/>\r\n \r\n<hr \/> \r\n<p>Once you have created the bootable floppy disk, proceed as follows:<\/p>\r\n \r\n<p>1. Copy the following Image for DOS files to the floppy disk:<\/p>\r\n \r\n<ul><li><strong>IMAGE.EXE<\/strong> <\/li><li><strong>CDBOOT.F35<\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\r\n \r\n<p>2. Open Notepad (or your text editor of choice).<\/p>\r\n \r\n<p>3. Copy and paste the following text into Notepad:<\/p>\r\n \r\n<p><font color=\"#0000ff\">@echo off<br \/>cls<br \/>echo Launching Image for DOS...<br \/>rem Specify environment variables, if any, immediately below this line.<br \/>image.exe<br \/>cls<br \/>echo You may now reboot the computer (Ctrl + Alt + Delete).<br \/>echo.<\/font><\/p>\r\n \r\n<p>4. Save the file in Notepad as <strong>A:&#92;AUTOEXEC.BAT<\/strong>. You now have a bootable floppy disk that will automatically launch Image for DOS when booted from.<\/p>\r\n \r\n<hr \/> \r\n<p>Note: If you wish to specify any environment variables for Image for\r\nDOS, you will need to add the appropriate line to the AUTOEXEC.BAT\r\nfile, as indicated in step (3) above.
