This is necessary in order for the correct version of the PHYLock driver to be installed.<br \/><br \/><strong>Instructions for Updating PHYLock<\/strong><\/p>\r\n  <p>The PHYLock component of the Image for Windows installation package is selected by default. &nbsp;If you didn't deselect PHYLock upon installation, there should be a shortcut to PHYLock setup under the Start menu.<br \/><\/p>\r\n  <ol>\r\n    <li>\r\n      <p>If you have a shortcut for PHYLock setup under your Start menu, run it now and then skip to Step 2 below. &nbsp;If you have no such shortcut, download the latest version of PHYLock that is compatible with the version of Image for Windows you wish to use:<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\r\n      <ul>\r\n        <li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/downloads\/phylock_ifw1.zip\"><strong>Standalone PHYLock installer\/uninstaller: Image for Windows <font color=\"#ff0000\">V1<\/font><\/strong><strong><br \/><\/strong><br \/><\/a><\/li>\r\n        <li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.terabyteunlimited.com\/downloads\/phylock_ifw3.zip\">Standalone PHYLock installer\/uninstaller: Image for Windows <font color=\"#ff0000\">V2\/V3\/V4<\/font><\/a><\/strong><br \/><\/li>\r\n      <\/ul><br \/>After downloading, extract the PHYLock archive and run SETUP.EXE.<br \/><br \/>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>The <strong>PHYLock Setup<\/strong> window will appear.<br \/><br \/>\r\n      <ul>\r\n        <li>If the PHYLock Setup window presents an <strong>Uninstall<\/strong> button, continue at Step 3 below.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n        <li>If the PHYLock Setup window presents an <strong>Upgrade<\/strong> button:<br \/><br \/>\r\n          <ol type=\"a\">\r\n            <li>Click the <strong>Upgrade<\/strong> button. <\/li>\r\n            <li>Click OK to allow PHYLock Setup to exit. <\/li>\r\n            <li>Run SETUP.EXE again and continue at step 3 below. &nbsp;You do <em>not<\/em> need to reboot at this point. <\/li>\r\n          <\/ol>\r\n        <\/li>\r\n      <\/ul><br \/>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>Click the <strong>Uninstall<\/strong> button and then click OK to allow PHYLock Setup to exit.&nbsp; You do <em>not<\/em> need to reboot at this point.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n    <li>Run the PHYLock Setup shortcut or SETUP.EXE a final time.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n    <li>Click the <strong>Begin Install<\/strong> button on the <strong>PHYLock Setup<\/strong> window and then click OK to allow PHYLock Setup to exit.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n    <li>Reboot to activate the new PHYLock driver. <\/li>\r\n  <\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you have PHYLock installed under a prior version of Windows and then perform an upgrade installation of Windows Vista or&nbsp;Windows 7\/8.x\/10\/11, you must reinstall PHYLock if you wish to use it under the new version of Windows.&nbsp;
