Task Scheduler Error 0x80070005 on Windows Server 2008

Problem:

Using the Windows Server 2008 Task Scheduler to run an IFW task results in Error 0x80070005.

Cause:

The task is unable to access a required file or folder.

Solution:

In addition to all of the normal task options, make sure the Run with highest privileges option is selected (this option is located on the General tab).

Please also note that when using a network drive or share, UNC paths should be used instead of mapped drive letters (see Image for Windows Scheduled Task Fails to Save Backup to Network Drive).
