Message “No UFS Partitions” when Attempting to Install Solaris

This problem can occur if the incorrect partition type is in effect.  In that case, solve the problem as follows:

  1. Reboot.
  2. At the BootIt BM boot menu, click Maintenance.
  3. From the BootIt BM desktop, click Partition Work.
  4. Select the applicable hard drive using the radio buttons on the left.
  5. Double click the applicable partition, and change the partition type to (82h/130 Linux Swap/Solaris).
