Limitations of Booting from a CD or DVD Created by Image for Windows

If you select to include Image for DOS on the backup CD/DVD created with Image for Windows, you will not be able to restore from an ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) drive unless you have included the appropriate ASPI driver.

To do this, you will need to create your own diskette image with the appropriate ASPI drivers and AUTOEXEC.BAT file to execute the image restore. More information on customizing CDBOOT.F35 can be found in the Image for DOS manual.

Note: This only applies when booting the CD/DVD created with CDBOOT.F35 (the Image for DOS setting). You will be able to restore from any CD/DVD drive under Windows.
