Booting is OK, keyboard ok, soft works ok. But touchpad is dead: nothing. Adding an USB mouse: OK

Give the latest version (IFL 3.64) a try. The newer kernel may contain drivers for your touchpad.

These DEll PCs (Latitude 5590) are from 2018.
Given that Terabyte's products are always ahead of its time, I find it hard to imagine that going from version 3.61 to 3.64 could change things.
That said, in order to show my good cooperation, I did it.
And, surprise, it worked!
