I've finally joined this forum, though I've used BootItBM extensively for over a decade. I've just beginning to use BootIt UEFI for a month now.
My main Linux Mint ext4 is running out of space, so I'm resizing it from 25GB to 45GB. However it has taken 4 hours for phase 2 alone!
Does anyone know why this is? I've not tried resizing with this program before. My only thought is that it's on an SSD. I'm a little worried as to what it's doing to me SSD.
I don't know the exact version number of Bootit UEFI, since my Dell G7 laptop is indisposed for the next few hours.
Thank you in advance for any assistance or clarity.

Re: Bootit UEFI taking hours to resize SSD
Either the firmware has an extremely slow implementation to access the drives (PIO), or there may be recoverable errors occurring (or the firmware locked up).
